The UA Event Resource Group currently numbers over 100 individuals who are involved in various aspects of event planning and implementation. One of our goals is to continue to reach out to employees from other departments who are tasked with similar duties so that we may streamline a more cohesive collaborative front. We share ideas, resources, templates, experiences, protocols and the preferences of administrators. Our meetings often include speakers to enhance professional development and enlighten members on current trends within the event industry.
Our group (ERG) meets on a quarterly basis (suspended periodically), at various locations on and off campus. Members are asked to participate in the meetings when possible. Suggestions on topics of interest and meeting locations are greatly encouraged in an effort to highlight and introduce others to possible venues or services available throughout campus.
