The Office of Sustainability showed us simple ways to make our events more sustainable, including how to compost with Compost Cats and effective signage for sustainable initiatives. After their presentation, we toured the UArizona Community Garden Space to see firsthand where the compost that is donated to the community is made and learn more about how we grow food for the community.

The Enterprise Geographic Information System (EGIS) team present their services and provide training on a wide range of resources such as easy-to-use data layers and capabilities within the UArizona Public Map and UArrive, including a routing tool as well as the custom events data model and the various products that can be created from it. Use GIS tools to help plan events and ensure your guests arrive at the correct location on time! EGIS is the University’s system of record for up-to-date campus map and related spatial information.
