Academic regalia is traditional dress worn by students, faculty and honorary degree recipients at university ceremonies such as convocations and Commencement. The University President, Deans and senior leaders as well as the Arizona Board of Regents also participate in these ceremonies.
If your new Dean, senior leader or faculty member needs to obtain regalia for their participation in a university ceremony, there are are options to rent or purchase regalia.
University BookStores
The University BookStores can assist with purchasing and renting faculty regalia. Please be sure to contact the BookStores early in the semester for purchasing and rental deadlines for Convocations and Commencement. It may take up to 6 weeks for renting or purchasing regalia so please plan accordingly.
